This event is expected to be incredibly popular and it may be difficult to find seating for large groups. Avoid standing in line or splitting up your group by signing up now for a reserved table for your family, clients or friends. For a tax-deductible donation of $500, you can reserve a table for 10 people in a prime location during the event.

Because this event is expected to sell out, FRED reserves the right to fill reserved tables that contain fewer than 10 guests.

The reserved table price does not include tickets for the FRED event. You must sign up for your tickets in advance by either registering online or using OPASTCO's registration form.

You may register for a table on OPASTCO's Convention Registration Form; OPASTCO's Online Registration; or at www.fred.org.

Have You Paid Your FRED Taxes?

FRED tax season is upon us and tax forms should be in your mailboxes by now. This fundraising campaign pokes a little fun at Uncle Sam while raising awareness for FRED programs. The funds generated from your support will benefit FRED's scholarship and other programs that support rural OPASTCO communities. All FRED Tax donations should be submitted before April 15h.

Leadership Through Learning Program a Success!

On March 9th, fourteen students from across the U.S. and Canada arrived in Washington, D.C. for an all-expense paid week in the city, sponsored by NECA. FRED partnered with the Close Up Foundation, a Washington D.C. based non-profit with over thirty years of experience hosting youth programs.

Students had the opportunity to observe the federal government at work, witness the development of public policy and explore the roles of citizens, lawmakers, experts, associations and businesses in the world's most successful democracy.

Highlights from the week included an appearance on CSPAN-2, a visit to the Saudi Arabian Embassy, visits with congressional representatives, participation in a telecom workshop at the OPASTCO offices, and tours of the National Archives and Newseum.
